My Name is Gundi – Ann Wilken, I will be the class teacher for the Falcon Class this year.

I have been teaching children aged 2.5 to 6 years for twenty five years and hold a Montessori Diploma from The Montessori Centre International in London.

I started out teaching in South Africa at the Montessori Academy. Because of the demand I opened a school of my own closer to where I lived in Pretoria.

After getting married and having two children I moved to Namibia and again opened a school of my own. Both schools are still operational and being run by Montessorians.

Moving to the UAE, we were situated in Al Ain and I worked in a number of EYFS schools learning and doing courses to familiarise myself with the method.

I am excited about the year ahead and look forward to creating an exciting and inviting environment for all the children to learn grown and develop.
